Our flush mount models, on the other hand, are meant to sit level with the floor. Although flush mount styles might be most easily installed at the same time you lay your hardwood floor, we have solutions for those of you who want to do a flush mount on a pre-existing surface. Options for our wood floor grates include ash, white oak, red oak, yellow pine, American cherry, heart pine, Brazilian mahogany, hickory, and walnut.
