We attach each piece with the grain running perpendicular to the frame, providing maximum durability. Unlike many other wood heating vents on the market, ours will not warp in humid conditions. To accommodate different styles of homes, we offer several options for mounting your vent. If you would like your vent to be completely level with the surrounding floor, wall, or ceiling, consider our flush mount style. For a custom look, you can add a frame to flush-mount styles as well, in a matching or contrasting wood. Our drop-in styles are great for most types of duct openings, and feature an inner frame and an outer lip to hold the vent in place. If for some reason you don't want to insert the interior of the grate into your duct, you might opt for our surface mount style, which fits only over the top of the opening.
